This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, James Burnette who was born in Maryland on January 14, 1976 and passed away on June 18, 2008 at the age of 32. We will remember him forever.
I wanted to honor my brother's life and let those that didn't know him have the opportunity to get to know one of the most beautiful people God brought into my life.

My brother, Jeff, was thirty-two, the father of five beautiful children-James Jr., Hunter, Zackary, Jasmine, and Dillon. Jeff was the youngest of three children to our mother. Jeff suffered from Bipolar with Mania for most of his life and God had mercy and took him home. Although he is gone, he will be with us always and is missed more than he could have ever imagined.

Thank you Irene, Mommy to Angel Kayla Xavier-for this beautiful tribute to Jeffrey.

This was written in memory of our grandfather, James McAlister. I thought it was so beautiful and so meaningful to all who are grieving the loss of a loved one-especially when it is so unexpected.
Don't think of him as gone away--
his journey's just begun,
life holds so many facets---
the Earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting,
from the sorrows and the tears,
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing
that we could know, today,
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched...
for nothing loved is ever lost--
and he was loved so much.
