I found this on-line and it says so well what I feel but cannot express that I wanted to add it here as a tribute to you my baby boy. I miss you every single day.
We are connected My child and I by An invisible cord Not seen by the eye.
It's not like the cord That connects us 'til birth This cord can't been seen By any on Earth.
This cord does it's work Right from the start. It binds us together Attached to my heart.
I know that it's there Though no one can see The invisible cord From my child to me.
The strength of this cord Is hard to describe. It can't be destroyed It can't be denied.
It's stronger than any cord Man could create It withstands the test Can hold any weight.
And though you are gone Though you're not here with me The cord is still there But no one can see.
It pulls at my heart I am bruised...I am sore But this cord is my lifeline As never before.
I am thankful that God Connects us this way A mother and child Death can't take it away!

Bad night tonight baby. It's been so hard on all of us. Your big brother and your sister and me. In many ways you were the strong one. You hid your pain so well and were always there for us -- even in your last days here. We knew you were troubled, but maybe we didn't know how troubled. If we could have the time back, knowing what we know now, we would do anything necessary to help you, to keep you here with us. Your children may never know just what a good person you were. Jeff, Jr. is old enough to have memories of his dad, but the others I worry about. We will tell them of course, but I wish you could be here for little Dillon.
Karena and I have found a whole community of grieving parents, siblings and children who are traveling this same road. We light candles for their loved ones often to honor them, to offer comfort to the families and because we know it's what you would do. The love we feel for you we share with others and that insures that you live on forever, not only with us but with many others who would not otherwise have known you.
I love you so very much, sweet boy, and will until my time comes to join you. What a wonderful day that will be. Give your Uncle Ronnie and your Papa hugs and kisses for me.

Thank You / Shirley McAlister (Aunt) Thank you to everyone who has visited Jeff's site to light candles, write tributes, or create one of the beautiful graphics. 2007-2008 was a heart-breaking year for our family. Linda's and my beautiful brother, Ronnie, died in September, 2007; we lost Jeff only a few months later. Knowing that so many people care has brought some comfort to us, especially to my sister. I hope that 2009 will bring solace to everyone who has lost a loved one. Until we meet them again, may God hold them in the palm of His hand.

Being special / Yvonne Reed Leaving a legacy of being a special person is the best any man or woman can achieve in their lifetime. Although I never knew Jeff, I know he was a man who is much loved and special brother, son, uncle, father, friend. You live on in the hearts of many. What a beautiful thing that is.
